THE FAMILY. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck

Graduation and Good-Bye

Mia is finished with the Second Grade.  At the awards ceremony she received honors for Straight A's, Computers, and Drama.  We are so proud of her.

Cole Graduated from Kindergarten and had a great program on the last day of school.  Each child stepped up to the microphone and said what they want to be when they grow up.  Cole said he wants to be a doctor.

They sang several songs and by the end of the program they involved the parents.  We followed along as our kids taught us a silly dance.  Drew got it all on video.  Yea!

The end of the school year was bitter-sweet.  The kids had to say good-bye to the school they've enjoyed since moving here.  It was a great school, but we're excited about new adventures ahead.
