#1. DISTRACTION: You must distract the little one. Luke was given Mia's Leapster, and that kept him busy for a good 15 minutes.
#2. ALL IN ONE GINGERBREAD HOUSE KIT: What a great invention. No hassle on my part. The kids know what they have to work with. They just need to use their imaginations to make it look special.
#3. A GREAT LEADER: In this case, Mia was a great leader. She and Cole worked together to make the house look ultra charming.
Distraction only works for so long. Luke discovered the yummy house. Mia and Cole did a great job making it look beautiful, and the house lasted a good 12 hours, before Luke pulled it off the counter the next morning and ate half of it. Ahhh, Christmas memories.

So funny. I am glad you got pictures before the demolition.
That is so funny. I wish we had gingerbread houses here. That looks like fun to make. We have lebkuchen though. That is kind of similar but they don't make it in house shapes. Maybe we can spend a Christmas in the U.S. one year and do this project. That would be fun. I don't think ours would last much longer than yours did though.
Way to go Luke! I think gingerbread houses are meant to be eaten!
