Cole didn't start school until after lunch. He was thrilled to be in the same school as his big sister. 
Daddy walked him to the bus. 
And of course Mom had to trail behind to get some photos. 
Mia and Cole rode back home together. They were both exhausted after their long first day. 
As a tradition I try to make a special after school snack after the first day of school. Here are my cheese "pencils". Not so cute, but the kids loved them. I got the idea from Family Fun magazine.

Wow so, what are you doing with the free time! Cole looked so excited. Sophia had her first day today and it's all day! She was so excited. I might have to make that pencil snack that is really cute. You are so crafty and creative! Hope all is well!
The cheese pencils are totally cute. You are such a good mom to think of doing stuff like that. So is kinder only 1/2 day? That's nice. Ezra told me today that he actually fell asleep during "nap" time and then woke up way later when everyone was watching TV. At least he didn't miss much!
Super cute! Is your pencil made of cheese and a bugle? What is the black tip and the eraser? Fun.
