THE FAMILY. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck

Summer Silliness

Mia loves all things "fun".  I told her about the idea of a frozen T-shirt contest, and she was all over it.  So last night we took 5 T-shirts.  We got them wet and squeezed out the water.  Folded them nice and placed them on a cookie sheet with waxed paper separating each shirt, and put them in the freezer over night.  Today a couple of her friends came over and they had the contest.  First one to get the shirt on wins.

Cole wasn't even sure where to begin and he hardly wanted to touch it.  Luckily it's over 100 degrees outside.
Aubrey yelled at the shirt, hoping that would open it up.
Aspen kept trying to cheat by getting me to help her.

Mia won first place.  You can see how cold it is by the look on her face.

 So much fun.

Here are a couple of photos of the little ones enjoying the show.  I guess he thinks looking through binoculars backwards will help him see better.
Poor Ella split her head open last night on the edge of the end table.  It's A LOT deeper than it looks, thanks to Dr. Taylor's incredible gluing skills.  Dr. Taylor and Dr. Stuart rushed over as soon as I called them.  They are such great friends.  Ella was covered it blood, so it was lucky I didn't pass out, but I love that it only looks like a scratch today.  Amazing!  Gotta love the glue.
